What lousy customer service, particularly considering rows 3 through 5 on BOTH sides were completely empty on that flight.

Also, there is NO way the pitch in row 6 is 33" - 34." It is around 31" at best. But the good news in row 6 is that there is no usable seat 6B. Seat 6B is extremely narrow and never assigned to a passenger.
It's business class not first class.

Sorry - but the pitch in the first 8 rows of these planes is 33-34in - this is the advertised seat pitch in Club Europe on BG.

The seats are convertible to give 2x3 seating in Club rather than 3x3 in Economy. This means that the ABC seats squish down to just A and C and the DEF seats expand to be wider.

The seats on the ABC side immediately behind the curtain (which can move according to load) - is always in the Club config for safety reasons.

If the curtain was in row 3 then the first row of Economy would be row 4 and THAT "B" seat would be blocked - but 6B would be in Economy config and would be sold. So it is incorrect to say that 6B is never sold - it's only not sold if it is in the Club cabin - or if it forms the first row of economy only.
