I was thinking of doing something similar, but for the bonus miles promotion, ALL flights HAVE to start / finish in the UK, which will exclude the BAH/DOH and AUH/MCT runs.
Still good for Tier points, but remember that a F r/t AUH-MCT is around £400.00....
