This time I tried 9W all the way NAG-BOM-EWR and NW MSP. The lady at the jet counter was not even prepared to give me boarding pass for my BOM-EWR let alone the EWR-MSP. Anyway I had to call for the manager and he had to teach her how to do it. I think there is either a systems problem or more likely a training problem. I had the same problems at MSP while flying out. This time NW could not issue me any boarding tickets for my EWR-BOM tickets and only gave me MSP-EWR boarding passes. But they had no problems at least tagging my bag all the way NAG and transferred them to 9W at EWR. 9W of course does not have a web check-in in the US (I can't believe that) so I had to sit in the NW lounge till late evening, because if I came through the security, I would not be able to get in to the NW lounge again without a 9W boarding pass which would not be until a couple of hours before the 9W flight.

Bottom line internline has never worked for me 9W-NW but has worked for me NW-9W for luggage only (never boarding passes).
Interlining baggage and through checkin (getting boarding passes) are two different things, aren't they?
