It constantly amazes me - normally on a daily basis - how many parents don't feel responsible for their children AND have no common sense...
Fortunately I have been involved in sport to a very high level and have met many youngsters through that who are great (some relationship between high level sport and discipline/maturity and also supportive/responsible parents maybe...). Kids are great, but they are such "open books" and turn into what their parents make them (mostly).
Ok, I don't have kids yet, so I have plenty of years of tearing my hair out ensuring that I am the type of parent that I admire (and my kid/s grow-up to be good people)....
