Instead, where available (so far, BOS and MIA for transcon passengers, soon to be LAX and SJC), Premium passengers now get access to the AA Flagship Lounge, which is a fully-fledged international-style First Class lounge-- gourmet food and booze, personal reminders of flight boarding, the works.
