One of those friends works in something of a supervisory position at CDG and complains that the young employees working under him haven't been educated in proper manners and don't address the ladies first.
And one of the worst possible forms of address, although unfortunately widely in use, would be "Bonjours Messieurs Dames", typical of café waiters and shopkeepers.
