Booked Vegas flight - now £1000 less - any refund?
I have never flown with BMI before and decided to try them to fly direct from Manchester. Being a frequent flyer with other airlines, my best deals have always been by booking the fare as soon as released ( approx 11 months before). The bmi website 'suggested' the same theory - the earlier you book the better fare you will get. I booked two Premium Economy tickets for November 2008 from Manchester to Vegas for £2325 when they were released mid dec. All okay so I thought. I checked 2 weeks later and found the same flight on their website for total £1476!!!! Is this normal? I feel totally ripped off by this especially when I've lost approx £1000 on one flight! Are they able to do this legally? Their customer services say they will not give a refund of the difference or even a credit voucher. Has anyone ever had this situation? I know fares can go up or down but surely £1000 difference for two tickets is ridiculous. Please help - it has ruined my christmas - yuk!
