I booked 2 different itineraries last night for a quick HKG run. I want to cancel one of them today. I tried the refund button on the reservation and I am told that I cannot use it. I tried pasting the ticket number (016...) into the form and that didn't work either. And the refunds department is closed on weekends.
Do I have to call the ICC for this?
IME, ICC's are quite capable of understanding and applying the 24-hour refund rule. I have done it with them 10+ times in the last 6 months.
FWIW, I have never been able to successfully apply the refund online whenever my itinerary has more than 4 segments.
