Having done so much flying on KL over the last 18 mths or so, i could probably recite it in Dutch too ...

Seriously, I think I now know instinctively where my nearest exit is, about the lighting on the floor, how to open the overwing exits, etc. But that's the result of 100s of flights; infrequent flyers would probably just panic even if they had paid attention to the demo.

I'd prefer not to put my "knowledge" to the test though.
