I follow the safety briefings without fail. Rude not too as I believe it shows some respect to the crew and besides that, despite the frequent travelling, I still need to be reminded of the particular emergency exit release instructions. Should the worst happen, I am certain the crew will be instilled with added confidence knowing that at least some passengers paid attention to the briefing. The events of Thursday's emergency only reinforce the importance, as the crew were not given the luxury of time to replay the briefing during the fast moving situation.

I would say the a very important especially if you don't fly very often. The problem with the BA videos are they are way too long! I don't give a crap about the teddy etc.
It is rather long, isn't it. I tend to return to my newspaper once I see mum has securely fitted the oxygen mask onto her youngsters face; the gameboy bee-bee-beedee-bee-bee that immediately follows acts as my cue.
