If you know what to do in an emergency, when you and all around you are in panic, than its great. But would you really. The proof of this is if you could recite the safety announcement without any assistance. Most people think they can but can they?

However, boring the emergency announcements maybe to the frequent traveller, believe it or not, there are pax who seldom or even never fly on the same flight as you.

Everyone was already strapped in for landing on this flight. So there was not need to issue instructions to pax. Am surprised that no one sounded the Brace Brace announcement if the pilot knew there were issues on landing. This is when panic really would set in.

Suspect pax were in too much shock to feel panic after the landing and followed crew instructions sensibly.
