Me and a friend are meeting up in Munich the first weekend in March and have found out it's strong beer season. Anyone have any experience of the festivities? I've drank Salvator a few times and know it packs a punch.
There isn't real "festivities" - restaurants sell "Starkbier" (= Strong beer) and there is a plave (Nockherberg) where they sell it in big beer halls. That's it!
