I had them on Dec. 20 LGW-RDU (on an op-up ) and my seat worked fine, and I didn't catch wind of any issues in any other seats.

Coming home last week on Jan. 8 DFW-FRA was another story. Again my seat worked fine, but lots of other passengers in biz were complaining of various problems w/ the IFE. At one point the FA's came though w/ a notepad and surveyed each pax asking if the IFE was working or any other problems w/ the seats. The purser actually made an overhead announcement to the entire plane apologizing for all the problems in F & Biz, saying this was a new seating configuration, etc. etc.

They tried twice to reset the entire system, or something along those lines, and both times they did that every single one of the individual overhead reading lights in biz came on at the same time. That was pretty comical.
