Taking away the Thursday evening social hour is just a dumb move. I'm very dissappointed with Marriott for doing this. Actually I'm more than just dissappointed... I'm angry.

I intentionally waited a few days before making this post so I wouldn't be so angry when I wrote it, but it didn't work too well. I'm still angry.

Over the last 5 years I have stayed at Residence Inns more than any brand. The social hour is one of the prime reasons that I choose this brand over the others. I will now have to re-think my priorities.

Does anyone know who makes these kinds of assinine decisions? Seriously, I'd like to know. Is it an individual or is this kind of thing done by a committee? I'm sure someone is feeling smug that they made such a smart decision. Does any know who I can write to tell them that their decision is idiocy? How can I get this message to the source?
