I think that doesnt reallt reflect the reality...

Since I moved away from DTW (a NW hub with only 4 AA destinations) to DFW I might get a bunch of NetSavers shot over every weekend but cant use these ones in 90% of the cases.

In opposite to this, the regular fares are about 20% higher than before but with only half the mileage since now I HAVE to fly direct DFW-LAX instead before connecting through DFW from DTW for an even cheaper fare

The only advantage I see in living at the hubs, in case of irrops and excessive delays I just go later to the airport or go back home instead of digging for an overpriced hotel as I had to do before.
