Thanks for the advice, all. I'm starting to look into some of the online forums with ticket exchange programs and will also investigate the package deals, although some of those prices are way above my budget! I haven't seen anything about such packages on the Liverpool website, but will call and ask. I think the Liverpool FanCard only gives you priority for Cup, Everton, and ManU games, since they use it to track attendance, but the website does say something about being able to buy tix online, so at £3.50, it can't hurt! I also managed to leave my flight schedule flexible enough to stop back the next weekend vs. Reading if necessary.

Edited to add: Think I found the section about dining/bar packages - start from £70, so not bad
