I am traveling to London from Los Angeles for a week in October. The "everyday leisure fare" at UAL.com is $517.00 including taxes. When I tried to book it over the phone, it's $725.00 plus taxes. I purchased it on the web, its a V fare. I was able to upgrade with systemwides.

Nobody can give me an explanation. The information on the web did not claim it was internet based.

What gives?
