I emailed customer service and web support this mornign and got form response telling me that these fares are avail and limited. I think it is deceptive advertising.

it may be fuel surcharges as they are somewhere between base fare and taxes and fees but if that's the case then perhaps it's time for some legislation outlawing this practice. just like you, the best i found was around $450 plus taxes/fees or $560 total. much different then $232 or about $350 total.
