Texas isn't much of a place to vacation, but it isn't only about oil either, for example there's a big high-tech industry in Austin, North Dallas and pieces of Houston. Amongst the names you'll probably recognize are Dell, AMD, IBM, Intel, HP Compaq, Freescale (formerly Motorola Semiconductors), Alcatel and a load of others.

Now I come to think of it, I wonder why BA flies a 747 to Phoenix 5 or 6 days a week, rather than a 767 or 777 every day?
