Apparently they have some new 777s and they are using this short hop to practice with the plane. They FA said these will be used on the DOH-New York route once they get settled in. In the meantime, if you are going between Bahrain and Qatar, check the timetable. It was a great plane (for all of 38 minutes in the air!)
