In America, most retailers, including supermarkets offer price guarantees. If the price of the LCD TV you just bought drops within a specified time period, then a refund of the difference is yours.
I worked at a supermarket in high school and it was our policy to refund the difference if an item went on sale (wine included).
Even Amazon will refund the difference if the price of an item drops within 30 days of purchase.
