Hampton’s do tend to be a bit better than HI. The problem is the lack of consistency with HI. Some are pretty nice, but there is the occasional ‘nursing home’ or ‘bad ‘70’s movie’ HI property. Hamptons seem to be consistently good. The only issue is some of the Hampton’s have inflated prices. It comes down to value, if there is a $20 or less difference, you may want to opt for the Hampton otherwise park your carcass at HI.
