IMHO English football is ridiculous, and you need only look at the naming of the various professional leagues to understand it. League One being the third division??
Only Arse-nal play football that's worth watching, but only sometimes, and it's because they aren't much of an English team to begin with (Arab sponsors, French manager, Spanish/French players...).
Seeing as you're going to be in Europe, take a trip down to Spain to see how 'ball should be played. Even in France, the quality of the spectacle is infinitely better than the cr*p they feed us here. And without the extortionate prices (£40 to watch Sheffield Wednesday being unable to exchange two passes? No, I will pass ), either.
