Thumbs down my first CZ longhaul experience was a BAD

AF sold me a ticket involging AF and KL codes. Paper one.... yes, the KL CAN-AMS is CZ operated. Economy, AF (T class) KL (H class). Not open but 'almost'.

I lost the AF106 due to late arrival and AF placed me on next day AF104, " don't worry sir, AF operated, we take care of your bags".

I never hear so many lies in one sentence. The AF104 is CZ metal... let me just say a seat in front of me 'lost' a metal support for the cushion you could used as a club. Service good, all the rest was crap.
My bag did not arrived... 12 hours were not enough for AF to retag them.
CZ office in CAN airport bag collection area told me they had no evidence, no clue, no refound for 'emergency' purchases. Just fill a form and call them. A SINGLE NUMBER ! I contacted AF provided number for bag problem and "sorry, AF104 is not our concern, call CZ. have a nice day". CZ number always busy. After 3 days I went to the airport to know about my bag, an overall 4 hours drive. My bag was arrived, good to know. I discovered some smart guy had written in the CZ form copy I already accepted and COLLECTED a compensation of 200 RMB. Nice surprise, no evidence on my copy. The CZ supervisor, the only person in CZ staff with English capabilities (the others were just able to say, sorry, yes, no, bag...) offered to replicate the payment as a goodwill gesture, I refused, it's not the proper amount. I got creative and I not only signed for the bag but I wrote on it a few points in my native language. Their problem to understand it.

I finished my work in advance and I asked to depart a day earlier. The travel agency and AF (ticket from them) told me "no problem, just a 100 EUR fee". "OK"."but you have to go directly tot he airport to the KL ticket counter and pay it". "is it a joke ?" No it was not. After a bit AF changed my KL return date but after 3 hours CZ informed them I was removed from that flight. The credit card remote payment is a concept too complex for them. I had no wish to spend other 4 hours in a car. Am I too fussy ? Yes.

Today, return fligth. KL3810 (i.e. CZ345 on CZ metal) plus an other KL from AMS. "Sorry, we can not give you the boarding pass, it's in an other system. ""Do you know what Skyteam stand for and its concept ? " "sorry sir.... " and so on...

Not yet arrived in AMS but up to now I'd say kick out this crap and unefficient airline from Skyteam. It's just my vote... but after all I do not even have a vote on the topic; l will try not to be fooled once again by getting the Flying Blue Gold bonus miles and I will vote using my wallet*. I know: no result but at least let someone else enjoy CZ.

* it's small, almost empty, but it's mine !
