I quit using BA for my european trips after the LAX-LHR fiasco a couple of years ago when the flight continued from LAX despite losing an engine on takeoff. That flight made an emergency landing at Manchester. I don't believe for a minute that decision wasn't economically motivated!

Oh no! Here we go again. Was that the BA flight that was vindicated by the UK CAA, the UK Air Accident Investigation Branch, the US National Transportation Safety Board, Boeing and eventually, after much embarassed foot-shuffling and back-pedalling the FAA? Who else would have to give it the nod for you to satisfied MTW1000?
