If they are available, they should be offered (cabin crew bring them round in a basket with the pre-landing snack). I am sure that there are better scones out there, but they are warmed and there is a choice of plain or saltana... There will be little portions of strawberry jam and clotted cream on your tray and the cabin crew often offer seconds of scones. Or at least they did - bit worrying what flyboy777 said...
