Will I earn Mileage Plus miles (both EQMs and RDMs) for this trip or will the unspoken rule that partner metal as well as the coding of the flight is required cost me the miles if I pay a premium over what FJ would charge and book my travel through NZ?
I believe WindFlyer is correct, both the marketing carrier (the one who's flight number is used) and the operating carrier must be partners in order to earn mileage.
