I know it's taboo to say this, but anyone thought it was pilot error especially since control tower and passengers knew nothing of the impeding incident until it actually happened?

Congrats to the crew for getting everyone out and most importantly the flight deck crew for controlling the crash landing enough to ensure the plane largely ended up in one piece. ^

Will be interesting to hear what actually happened once investigators have a chance to go over the scene and data.

I hope this means our very own Spotwelder manages to pick up a bit of local work rather than having to go out to the four corners of the globe to earn his break and butter!
