# All British Airways short haul flights out of Heathrow cancelled for the rest of the day.

# All short haul flights out of Heathrow's Terminal 4 cancelled for the rest of the day.

# Some long haul flights cancelled (check with your airline if you are planning to travel).

# Many other long haul flights from Heathrow have been departing late, currently by two to three hours in most cases.

# The scheduled British Airways flights from Manchester Airport to Heathrow at 1540, 1705, 1850 and 1940 are cancelled.

# A number of incoming flights diverted to nearby airports - 11 to Gatwick, four to Luton and five to Stansted. The airlines involved will announce their own arrangements for the transfer of passengers.
