I would calculate if differently. The value that you mention is the theoretical value (because of J pricing.) The actual value is the value between what you paid and what you would have agreed to pay for J. I assume most people (ever here ) would not pay 4-5K for this trip. Suppose you were willing to pay 2k. In this case the value is 2k-600 / 35,000 or so.
