The only reason of being of these tags is for the owner to be reminded (and proud ) that (s)he's a member of a given FF programme (here, FB). They offer no guarantee what so ever that the luggage will be arriving at the destination at the same time as the owner, nor that it will be off-loaded/delivered earlier than that of other passengers'. Mind you, when you've become a proud member of several programmes, including hotel and car rentals, your luggage starts looking like a X'mas tree and you provide some colour to the poor workers (mis)handling it down in the basement of the airport.
