I'm sitting in the new OW lounge, waiting for LAN 603 down to SCL. It's our first ever time on LAN, but we fly on BA a lot -- not, however, since the new lounge opened. It's a massive improvement over the first class temp lounge we were in last year so often. I've just had a delicious portobello mushroom small sandwich and some potato leek soup. Good beer selection. Lots of computers, and the wireless connect is crisp and fast.

It's not crowded now (12:05PM), but I can imagine in the evening it will pick up quite a bit.

I rather like having a lounge on the far side of security rather than landside. It means not having to worry about too much or too little time to reach the boarding gate.

The elevator up to this lounge was hopeless, so we climbed two flights of stairs.
