On paper I would agree that Hampton is similar to HI Express. However, in execution, Hampton tends to have a more varied/extensive breakfast (although the eggs are more obviously "real" at HIX if they're simply boiled!
), and I've never yet seen a Hampton with the "sterile" look that many HIXs have.
