A group on the QF board seem to be assured that QF will credit the flight. That said, I have my doubts, but it is definitely worth reading this thread:

Otherwise it might be time to pull out the BA Blue card and credit a few miles there. That said, the flights are worth almost nothing so it might be worth taking the QF experiment and then arguing your case if they don't!
