As I said before and you have reinforced, you don't get negative money, you get less money than if you had received more tips. Maybe you are imagining this as "I get less money than if I had received minimum wage"?
That being said, I do appreciate the first response to my question as to whether servers get below minimum wage. And you should beware too. If you find that you sit in jail awaiting trial for f*** with a customers food, you will have ample opportunity to ask yourself "
was it worth it"? I doubt your explanation will sit well in court.
