I think not actually. The award seat would, I presume, show the status of the pax IF they have status or no status if they do not have status.

In other words, if you racked up a bunch of miles off your Chase Visa and turned them in for a FC award......well, you would show status if you had it and no stars if you didnt.

Thats the way I understand it anyway.
