How would you react if a passenger brought on board a decent bottle of wine and wanted you to pour it for them? Assume they are in International F or C. Is this legal if the FA pours it? I have considered this many times given the dismal quality of most UA wines, but have never pulled the trigger when shopping in airport duty free shops.
At my former airline we were allowed to do this, and I actually had done it several times. The only requirement was to have the bottle with the flight attendant who in turn served it and monitored its being served.
With the UA policy......
It "surpasses" the FAA requirement.
