Company Looking for Marketing (not sales) person - NYC-based - financial services

"XXX is looking for a marketing person to help increase our business with financial services companies and with enterprise software OEMs. We'd like to have someone who can work out of our New York office (Chrysler Building in Midtown) for at least part of the time.
We're looking for someone with:
> Five years of experience with marketing of high technology products or services. Preference given to people will backgrounds in enterprise software and/or financial services.
> Excellent communications skills.
> Well-organized worker.
> Ability to effectively learn and use InDesign, Illustrator, Quark or similar graphic design packages.
> Ability to write copy for press releases, product literature, websites, emails, newsletters, and similar materials.
> Technology savvy, with good understanding of how to build and use spreadsheets, databases, web servers, FTP sites, and similar tools.
This person will work with me and the sales team to:
> Execute successful trade shows and other events that promote XXX’s products, technology and people. Includes communications within the company, development of event plans, communications with venues, vendors and partners, and pre-event promotions and publicity.
> Collect useful information about products and technology from engineers and developers and convert technical information about features and functions into benefit-oriented text and images for use on the web, in emails, brochures, white papers, trade shows, press releases, and other marketing activities and materials.
> Create new collateral materials, including white papers, datasheets, fact sheets, case studies, and brochures using templates prepared by outside graphics design agency and text and images prepared by the sales, marketing, R&D, and management teams.
> Update the website with new pages, images, text, videos and related information. Maintain and update all aspects of the site, including development of new functions and new Flash elements as needed and integration with external sites like a User Forum.
> Work with the VP Marketing to supervise and coordinate the activities of an external PR agency when such an agency is hired. Prior to that, work with the VP to develop, write, obtain approvals for, distribute, and follow up on press releases to our internally-maintained press list. Keep track of and evaluate press coverage and report results to management team.
> Help develop and distribute XXX e-mail newsletters, event invitations and announcements using Constant Contact.
> Help identify and solicit invitations for speaking engagements to industry groups. Develop materials, including PowerPoint decks and handouts, that our sales, technology and management people can use to conduct effective presentations.
> Help maintain and track budgets for marketing programs and activities. Help identify and select qualified vendors who can deliver quality work on time and within budget.
