maybe the summer rates aren't loaded yet. i, too, tried to book some rates for the end of may/early june. the rates were unbelievably high ($459 or $479'ish).

but, i was able to find the hotel for $89 over the weekend that i needed using the (non-refundable) promotion that ended yesterday. so, i was thrilled.

but, i think better rates are sure to come up later since AAA and promotional rates aren't pulling up anything. that is usually a clue that all of the rates haven't been loaded, no?
