The CDG-MAD flight will be equivalent to AF, KL. or any other European airline. Actually, better than KL because it's real 2x2 seating. My last C flights with UX had new leather Recaro seats that were comfortable for a 3,5-hour flight to LPA. The lounges are nothing to write home about, though.

Long-haul, you'll have new angled flat seats with VOD, pretty good food, and good service.

I'd rate UX business class on the same level as AF, LH, AA, etc.
