I'm about to make a reservation that I'll MFU so this thread caused me to look carefully at the conditions which say:
~~~~~~~
Changes to the date and time of the Upgrade can only be made up to 24 hours before departure. If the redemption class for the Upgrade is not available, the standard redemption charge will be levied for the re–crediting of Mileage to the Member’s account.
If cancelling a Miles for Upgrade booking, the whole journey must be cancelled.
Cancellations to all tickets can be made up to 24 hours before departure and the standard redemption charge will be levied. All Mileage will be re–credited to the Member’s account and taxes will be refunded.
If a Miles for Upgrade booking is cancelled by the Member within 24 hours of departure, Mileage in respect of the Upgrade will not be re–credited to the Member.
Surely the first paragraph implies that date and time can be changed without losing the miles provided the seats are available? Is this a difference between the US and the UK?
