Regardless - I'm 100% positive of my experiences on the evening sweeps moving me back to E- (I even reviewed the PMs with that FTer). In reading those PMs, I also confirmed that I was told by a UA supervisor that I was "entitled" to E+, but under airport control and of course based on availibility.

I hope that if the OP books the US stock, they report back their experiences on trying to move to E+.
I just booked a ticket on Expedia last week, US stock, UA metal. I entered my MP number during booking but could not get seat assignments on Expedia. Then I logged into .bomb, that trip has shown up in "My Itin" already with E+ seat assignment and middle seat blocked. ^ However, I can't make any seat change on .bomb because of US flight numbers.

BTW, the price different is $836 on these US codeshare flights booked in Expedia instead of $1093 on .bomb. A 30% savings for the identical flights.
