I just got an e-mail from StudentUniverse and they confirmed everything and waived the fee. 9 times out of 10 I'll book directly.. but UA wanted almost $400 for my itin and this student fares site was selling it for $218 all-in. I would have been a fool to book through UA directly! I'm used to getting the runaround from everyone at the airport because I'm 21 and people (incorrectly) assume I'm a rather infrequent student traveler who doesn't know what he's talking about!
