SPG Gold Mini-Report
My experience almost mirror's CandymanJim's. I booked 1 week in advance for two nights: 2/11 and 2/12. $89 per night in a Deluxe City View Room (the cheapest rate available on SPG.com). When I got to the gold/plat desk, I was recognized as a Gold Member and was upgraded and checked in within 5 minutes. *Note: The line at regular check in at 6:30pm on 2/11 was about 10 people long** I was upgraded to a Resort Room (3081 in the North Tower) with an amazing view of the Bellagio Fountains. The room was the "Bridges of Madison County" room with a few items of memorabelia from said movie. My room was exactly like CandymanJim's except on a higher floor, movie themed & with a view of the Bellagio Fountains.
I was treated wonderfully by the PH staff. Would definately return.
