Do you mean using AP points to book a hotel room (through the AP.com website) or using money to book a hotel (through the AC.com website)?

I think that margarita girl was referring to booking a hotel (for money) through AC.com, but your statement about wanting to USE points, sounds more like you want to go through the AP.com site.
