BOS and MHT area is supposed to get hammered with 8 to 12 inches of snow (depending on who's forecast you're looking at).

They're probably in the process of canceling a lot of flights into BOS so that equipment doesn't get stuck there during the storm.

Storm is supposed to hit hard between 10am and 4pm, tapering off in the early evening (again depending on who's forecast you look at).

PVD and the south coast is not expecting much accumulation. Perhaps calling and asking to be re-routed to PVD?
