I think it's all due to the degeneration of courtesy in the US. (and I think the rest of the world will soon follow) If everyone were just to behave sensibly and courteously, I'm sure everything would be fine. Perhaps we'll see the courtesy make a comeback when people reach their limit and start to provide immediate feedback on discourtesy (which is in itself somewhat discourteous, but hey, that's the breaks?) and dumbasses can be reminded by the courteous masses that they shouldn't be .......s.

With that in mind, I'd like to comment that I don't think every time something strikes you, you need to do a search to bump the original related thread - particularly on "conversational" topics rather than "FAQ" topics.

I appreciate the higher limits at CO because there are times when I have to travel with slightly oversized carryons - either my photo backpack and some non-briefcase item or leis from Hawaii or fiance's wedding dress or some other such nonsense.
