You may also be interested to know a lot of those Crew are Short Haul Crew that wanted to try Long Haul and got the opportunity to try in London Base. Many of them have come home now. Some who were given CSM roles in London have unfortunately been forced to come back as Flight Attendants, albeit for more money that they were making in London.
Behind the scenes there are still some teething issues with the base but I personally feel they contribute to the business well with money saving and a much needed fresh approach.
