This is what BA would do in an ideal world. We are a long way from direct GIG flights and daily direct EZE servies though.
BA have looked into it. Good news. Premium cabins are very high performing. MAXjet used to do nicely on there STN-LAS flights. Out of Gatwick, Virgins LAS flight is one of the highest performing flights in the premium cabin (with stag parties down back...) alongside BGI. Virgin are looking to increase the Premium cabin size on the Gatwick fleet (after they've decided on what to do with the LGW/MAN fleet). BA could easily fill a 4 class B777. To be honest, it would perform excellently out of LGW, but I reckon a B747 could fly daily from Heathrow
Using MaxJet as an example is probably not a very good idea! Like we've all said, its not that LAS wouldn't work, its just that destinations in India and China are more than likely going to take precedence.
