That's exactly what I was thinking two days ago while queueing for check-in at EZE for BA246. 4 desks, and a very long queue. We were in a barely moving queue for 90 minutes, that only started to going faster as we got closer to the desks, and when it was our turn, it was just 3 minutes. I think the agents realized that they wouldn't be able to check in everybody on time for the flight, and then started to work faster.
